Station radio details
From this page an export file can be viewed or downloaded containing MeetjeStad station radio data.
Stations send their measurements for MeetjeStad over radio using TTN (The Things Network).
TTN has gateways to the Internet, and if a least 1 gateway received the measurement, it is forwarded to MeetjeStad.
As seen from the station, each gateway has a different distance and different obstacles in between.
and each gateway receivase the measurement with a different radio signal strength (called rssi).
The export file contains for each measurement:
- station ID
- measurement timestamp (utc)
- station location
- station f_cnt: the number if measurements the station has attempted to send since station boot (nominally 96 per day)
- nogw: the number of gateways that received the measurement
- rssi0: the radio signal strength at the best receiving gateway (highest rssi)
- gateway0name: the (alias) name of the best receiving gateway
- gw0lat,gw0long: the location of the best receiving gateway
- gw0dist,gw0bear: the distance from the station to the best receiving gateway, and its bearing (direction, North=0)
- rssi1, gw1...: same for the 2nd best receiving gateway
You can use these data to create your own graphs or maps.
This export contains 4 days of history and is refreshed daily.
